3. Person responsible for data protection

CAI Technology S.R.L. has NOT formally appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) under Article 37 GDPR, as the processing activities do not cumulatively meet the conditions for such mandatory designation:

• the Operator is not a public authority or body (except for courts acting in their judicial capacity);
• the Operator does not carry out systematic monitoring on a large scale of data subjects as its core activity;
• the Operator does not process, on a large scale, special categories of data referred to in Article 9 GDPR or data relating to criminal convictions/offenses (Article 10 GDPR).

As a good-practice measure, CAI Technology S.R.L. has nevertheless appointed a person responsible for data protection, who acts as a single point of contact for data subjects (exercising rights under Articles 15–22 GDPR) and for cooperation with the supervisory authority.

If, in the future, the conditions of Article 37 GDPR are met (significant increase in the scale of processing, contracting with public authorities, large-scale processing of sensitive data), the Operator will formally appoint a DPO and communicate the contact details by updating this document, as well as by notifying ANSPDCP within 30 days.

5. Authorizations, registrations, and membership

As of the date of this document, CAI Technology S.R.L.:

• does NOT carry out regulated activities that would require prior authorization from a public authority (CNVM/ASF, BNR, ANCOM, MS, ANSVSA, etc.); it operates exclusively as a provider of information-society services under Romanian Law no. 365/2002;

• does NOT hold ISO certifications (ISO 27001, ISO 9001, SOC 2, etc.) at the time of publication of this document; internal security processes are aligned with industry good practices (NIST CSF, OWASP Top 10, CIS Controls), without formal audit by a certifying body;

• is NOT a member of specific professional bodies or sectoral associations (ANIS, ANIAP, ARMO, etc.) as of the date of this document.
