Conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA and EN 301 549

The ARTEMIS Platform — operated by CAI Technology S.R.L.

Aligned with Romanian Law no. 232/2019, Directive (EU) 2016/2102, Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), and the EN 301 549 / WCAG 2.2 Level AA standard.

1. CAI Technology S.R.L.'s commitment

CAI Technology S.R.L. is committed to making the ARTEMIS Platform accessible to persons with disabilities, in accordance with Romanian Law no. 232/2019 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public-sector bodies — voluntarily extended by the Operator to its commercial Platform — and with the applicable requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act / EAA), applicable to consumer-facing digital services from 28 June 2025.

2. Reference standard

The Platform is tested against:

• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 — Level AA;
• the European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1, in the sections applicable to websites and mobile applications.

3. Conformance status

At the date of the last assessment, the Platform is:

• Fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA — all applicable requirements are met, without exceptions; OR
• Partially conformant — the majority of the Platform meets the requirements, with the exceptions detailed at Section 4; OR
• Non-conformant — the Platform does not meet the requirements; a remediation plan is in progress (see Section 5).

The current conformance status is communicated transparently in the public version of this Statement.

4. Non-conformant content

The known non-conformities are documented and updated periodically as the Platform evolves. Where a specific feature cannot be made fully accessible, an equivalent alternative is offered on request to tehnic@caitech.ro.

5. Remediation plan and timeline

CAI Technology S.R.L. undertakes to remediate identified non-conformities according to the following timeline:

• internal accessibility audit — annually;
• independent external audit — every 24 months or upon major Platform changes;
• remediation of critical (blocking) issues — within 30 days of identification;
• remediation of major issues — within 90 days;
• remediation of minor issues — within 180 days.

6. Technologies used

The ARTEMIS Platform is built with the following accessibility-compatible technologies:

• HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript (ECMAScript / React or equivalent);
• WAI-ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) — attributes used to improve support for assistive technologies;
• keyboard-only navigation support;
• assistive-technology support on recent versions: NVDA 2024+, JAWS 2024+, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android).

7. Known limitations

The following accessibility limitations are known:

• Content uploaded by Users (documents, images) is not automatically verified for accessibility;
• AI-generated content (recommendations, answers) — structural accessibility is ensured, but phrasing varies depending on the model;
• mobile versions of certain advanced modules have an experience optimized for desktop.

Response time: 10 business days. For alternative-format requests, we make reasonable efforts to deliver within 30 days.

9. Enforcement procedure

If our response does not satisfy you or you do not receive a response within the indicated period, you may address the competent authority. For the public sector, the monitoring authority under Romanian Law no. 232/2019 is the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania (ADR). For consumer-facing commercial digital services (under EAA), monitoring may also fall under the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC).

10. Statement preparation

This accessibility statement was prepared on the basis of:

• self-assessment carried out by CAI Technology S.R.L.;
• where applicable, independent external assessment by a specialized provider;
• a combination of automated testing (Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse) and manual testing (with assistive technologies).
